A leopard entered the house this morning in the village of Kota near Murmadi(sidewahi), which is five to six kilometers from the city.
As soon as it was reported that the house in the village was closed, between nine o'clock in the morning, the staff of the forest department and the police personnel are keeping watch and the citizens of the village have flocked to see the leopard.
Wildlife-human conflict is now a daily occurrence for Chandrapur district.
