साधारणपणे एप्रिल, मे व जून या तीन महिन्यात तापमान मोठ्याप्रमाणावर वाढलेले दिसते. या काळात अनेकदा उष्णतेच्या लाटेचा सामना करावा लागतो. यंदा मात्र मार्च महिन्यापासूनच तापमानात वाढ झाल्याचे दिसून येत आहे. त्यामुळे उष्णतेची लाट व त्याच्या परिणामांपासून करावयाचा बचाव याबाबत उपाय आवश्यक आहे.
उष्णतेमुळे होणारा शारिरीक त्रास किरकोळ ते गंभीर स्वरुपाचा असू शकतो. किरकोळ त्रासाच्या स्वरुपात शरिरावर उष्णतेमुळे रॅशेश उमटणे, हातापायाला गोळे येणे, चक्कर येणे अशा स्वरुपाचा त्रास असतो. गंभीर प्रकारात उष्माघात होतो. यात व्यक्तीचा मृत्यूही होऊ शकतो. ही स्थिती लक्षात घेता इंग्रजी माध्यमातील शाळा सकाळच्या सत्रात सुरू करण्याची मागणी खासदार बाळू धानोरकर यांनी शिक्षण विभागाकडे केली आहे.#Take the school in the morning session due to summer;MP Balu Dhanorkar's demand

Generally, the temperature rises to a great extent in the three months of April, May and June. Heat wave is often faced during this period. This year, however, it is seen that the temperature has increased since the month of March. So there is a need for measures to protect against heat wave and its effects.
Physical discomfort caused by heat can range from mild to severe. In the form of minor problems, there are rashes on the body due to heat, cramps in the limbs, dizziness. Severe heatstroke occurs. It can also cause the death of a person.
