ताडोबा अंधारी व्याघ्र प्रकल्पाच्या बफर झोनमध्ये रविवारी सायंकाळी पूर्ण वाढ झालेल्या वाघाचा मृतदेह आढळून आला. दोन वाघांमध्ये अधिवास क्षेत्रावरून झालेल्या झुंजीत या वाघाचा मृत्यू झाला असावा, असा अंदाज वनखात्याचा आहे.#khabarkatta
अवघ्या दोन महिन्यांत चंद्रपूर जिल्ह्यात सहा वाघांचा मृत्यू झाला आहे. वनविभागाचे पथक गस्त करीत असताना ताडोबा बफर क्षेत्रातील चक निंबाळा गावाजवळ वाघाचा मृतदेह आढळून आला. मृत वाघाच्या शरीरावर अनेक जखमा होत्या. हा वाघ आधीपासून जखमी असावा, असेही सांगण्यात येत आहे. चौकशीच्या औपचारिकतेनंतर वाघाचा मृतदेह चंद्रपूर येथील उपचार केंद्रात (टीटीसी) आणण्यात आला. सोमवारी सकाळी टीटीसीमध्ये शवविच्छेदन करण्यात आले.#A dead tiger was found in Tadoba
चालू वर्षात जिल्ह्यात सहा वाघांचा मृत्यू झाला आहे. 3 जानेवारी रोजी ब्रम्हपुरी तालुक्यात एका शेतातील विहिरीत वाघ मृतावस्थेत आढळून आला होता. 4 जानेवारीला सावली रेंजमधून सुटका करण्यात आलेल्या वाघिणीचा 14 जानेवारीला गोरेवाडा रेस्क्यू सेंटरमध्ये उपचारादरम्यान मृत्यू झाला होता. त्यानंतर शेतात विजेचा धक्का लागून वाघिणीचा मृत्यू झाला होता. 14 जानेवारीच्या रात्री भद्रावती रेंज अंतर्गत माजरी येथे, तर 5 फेब्रुवारी रोजी पोंभुर्णा रेंजमधील घोसरी बीट अंतर्गत शेतात एका वाघाचा मृत्यू झाला होता. यानंतर पूर्ण वाढ झालेल्या एका वाघाचा वाहनाच्या धडकेत मृत्यू झाला. 12 फेब्रुवारी रोजी वरोरा रेंजच्या सीमेवरील पोथरा नदीत वाघाचा मृतदेह तरंगतांना आढळून आला होता. दोन महिन्यांच्या कालावधीत सहा वाघांचा मृत्यू वन खात्याच्या सुरक्षेवर प्रश्नचिन्ह उपस्थित करणारा आहे.

After the formalities of inquiry, the body of the tiger was brought to the Treatment Center (TTC) in Chandrapur. An autopsy was conducted at TTC on Monday morning. Six tigers have died in the district this year. On January 3, a tiger was found dead in a field well in Bramhapuri taluk. The tigress, which was rescued from Sawli Range on January 4, died on January 14 during treatment at the Gorewada Rescue Centre. After that, the tigress died due to electric shock in the field. On the night of January 14, a tiger was killed at Majri under Bhadravati range, while on February 5, a tiger died in a field under Ghosari beat in Pombhurna range.
After this, a full-grown tiger died in a collision with a vehicle. On February 12, the tiger's body was found floating in the Pothra river on the border of Varora range. The death of six tigers in a span of two months raises questions about the security of the forest department.
