नेमकी कॅरम स्पर्धा सुरू होण्यावेळी मान्यवर आल्यानंतर यांच्याच सहभागासह स्पर्धेला प्रारंभ करण्याची सूचना खासदारांनी केली. कॅरम बोर्ड व सोंगट्या होत्याच कर्डिले, हसन व घुगे या तिघांना भाजपचे जिल्हाध्यक्ष सुनील गफाट यांनी सोबत दिली. पंधरा मिनिटे खेळ रंगला. त्यात पाेलीस अधीक्षक नुरूल हसन यांची चुणूक दिसून आली. कॅरमचा स्ट्रायकर शिताफीने मारण्याची त्यांची शैली अनेकांना भावली. या वरिष्ठांच्या खेळाने उपस्थितांनाही आनंद दिला.
